Bonnie Braes Macadamia Nursery was started in September of 2012 and grew from the need to expand Bonnie Braes Farms hectares using quality Macadamia nut trees from our own known and proven mother plants, also to provide for the fast growing South African Macadamia industry. Three years on and we are proudly a 5 star SAMAC Accredited Nursery.

Our development team, comprising Bonnie Braes Partnership (Philip and Loraine Pappin) and son Craig, a qualified horticulturist, worked tirelessly throughout the construction phases to develop a world class wholesale Macadamia nursery. Our team has solid, professional experience, having successfully farmed Macadamias in the area for 30 years.

It is important to us to maintain a high standard of management. Having a horticulturist on site, and frequent visits from our appointed consultants allow us to meet this aim. Our staff are well trained and work together as a spirited, motivated and dedicated team.

The nursery is solely dedicated to the propagation of Macadamia nut trees. Our facilities comprises of four mist houses, one of which is heated for cuttings, eight shaded growing houses, two potting house with raised potting bays and a dedicated sand seed bed with a 35,000 seedling capacity. This results in an overall annual growing capacity of 300,000 trees.

Our ordering process is simple and can be done over the phone, internet, or by a visit to us at the nursery. We like to have a one on one relationship with our clients and are always open for visits. We practice a clear, legal and transparent business, with quality and client satisfaction being our main goals. Please contact us for more information.
